Discover new stories, make connections, and celebrate creativity at the Keeseville Free Library. Our inviting programs and gatherings are designed to bring neighbors together and inspire lifelong learning.

Library Events and Programs

Our library is brimming with things to do! From showcasing local artists and community crafts to Story time for the kids, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Want to sign out some snowshoes? Come on in! Need to borrow some tools? We can point you in the right direction.
Check out our latest newsletter for what’s happening each month.

Artist of the Month

We regularly feature the works of local artists who use the library as a venue to sell their wares. We have featured pottery, paintings, jewelry and knitted goods just to name a few. If you’re a local artist and are interested in displaying and/or selling your works at the library, please contact the library for more information.

Story Time/Fun Time with Doug and Sally

Happening every Tuesday from 10:00am – 11:00am in the Children’s Area, bring the kids to enjoy an animated storytelling session or a fun craft.

Tech Tuesday

If you’re struggling with your devices like an iPad/tablet, smartphone, or laptop, or just want to learn more about what they can do, consider attending a Tech Tuesday event at the library with Romeyn Prescott. These sessions are held monthly at the library. Please call (518) 834-9054 for more information or to register.

Learn and Play Mah Jongg

If you’re interested in learning the ancient game of Mah Jongg, a traditional Chinese tile-based game that’s become popular worldwide, the library offers sessions and games on select Fridays. Call the library at (518) 834-9054 for more information.
